Facilitated Journeys to Northern Kenya and Beyond
End-to-end planning and guiding across Kenya's wildest terrain. For select journeys, we don't just curate your trip, but we love to facilitate it ourselves and ensure a world-class experience. This is especially valuable for northern Kenya, which can be difficult to access without a trusted guide. Most of these trips include wild camping elements, or can be built exclusively around wild camping, alongside multiple-day hiking expeditions, game drives, boat safaris on the stunning lakes of northern Kenya, and much more. Destinations include the many conservancies and parks of northern Kenya (e.g., Lewa, Borana, Il Ngwesi, Shaba, Samburu, Namunyak, Sera), various escarpments, mountains and mountain ranges, including the Matthews Range, Ndoto Mountains, Nyiro Mountains, Mount Olelokwe, Mount Tiaty, Malaso Escarpment, Mount Mtelo and the Sekerr Mountain Range, deep craters such as the Silale and Magado craters, deserts such as the Chalbi and Suguta Valley, lake Turkana, Baringo, Turkwel and much much more. Wilderness Trekking & Cultural Expeditions
For travellers who want to venture into Kenya's untraveled corners, Ajabu Wild organises multiple-day trekking and camping expeditions in which cultural immersion plays a central part. These are generally short trips, from two to five nights, designed by Ajabu Wild in partnership with local communities. Destinations include the highest peaks of the Ndoto and Nyiro Mountains in Samburu; Malaso and the Amaya Triangle on the border of Samburu and Baringo; Kapedo, Silale and Mount Tiaty on the border of Baringo and Turkana; and Mount Mtelo and the Sekerr Mountain range in West Pokot. All are set in stunning wilderness, but what makes these trips truly special is the cultural immersion: really getting to know how local people survive and thrive in the land they call home.

We provide detailed route information, campsite bookings, GPS coordinates, security and weather updates, and trusted local contacts who can guide activities, so you can travel confidently while directly supporting community-led tourism and conservation across northern Kenya.
